Diegos® - The original dark espadrille sole, hand stitched with sisal and no rubber
- These authentic espadrilles soles are entirely hand sewn, like the ones worn in the sixties before the arrival of vulcanization and rubber soles.
- The sole is hand stitched by Vicente, nicknamed "El borracho", one of the last alpargateros (espadrille artisans) in northern Spain.
- The soles made of dark braided jute rope, are shaped and then hand sewn with a punch on a custom designed artisan wood bench called "Banco alpargatero".
